Unexpected side effects of a plant based diet
If you’ve been researching plant-based diets, you probably already know some of the obvious benefits. Plant-based diets have been shown to prevent, treat and even reverse some of the things that we really don’t want (cancer, heart disease, etc.) Plant-based diets have also been shown help with weight loss (or weight management,) improve digestion, improve sleep quality and more. That isn’t even taking into consideration the lesser environmental impact or animal welfare.
The most interesting thing is that there are benefits to the plant-based diet beyond some of the things you’ve already heard about. Here are two unexpected side effects of a plant-based diet that I experienced myself. I mention this a lot, but it’s worth saying again that this is my personal experience.
